I'm a semi-pro singer who went to music school, and have been singing in bands for years. I went to the Nikki D. Voice Studio in Capital Hill for a couple of months to tune up my voice, and ended up getting way more than I hoped for. She's great, and helped me regain some range that I thought I had lost, as well as sharpened up my technique and added some skills from where I'd left off in school. I highly recommend her.

Nikki helped me expand my range and taught me to produce good tone, even on high notes. Her technique builds confidence without sacrificing soul.

You have given me so much confidence in my abilities and I can't even tell you how much of a difference that makes in my progress as a singer... Your skill at taking me out of classical mindset into pop method was extremely valuable.

I remember driving in the car, singing to the radio like I usually do, but then something wonderful happened - my voice didn't "flip" like it usually does on certain notes, and I finally understood the concept of air intake... Nikki has been a great teacher and a wonderful mentor. Without her, I know I wouldn't sound as good as I do today when I sing.

(After 2nd lesson): I just have to say after yesterday's lesson I have improved 5-fold! I sang last night for 1 1/2 hours (at a controlled volume), with no fatigue and fewer mistakes... Thank you, thank you, thank you!
